Is It Better to Upload Profile Picture From Computer or Phone

Thank you for sharing your business concern here in the Microsoft Customs Forum. I know that it would be neat if you are able to upload your contour photo to your Microsoft account profile so others can immediately notice you if you will send them an electronic mail or you can notice if some tried to logged into your Role apps.
For the states to be able to isolate the cause of your business, I'd like to know if you are trying to upload the photo through Microsoft account through the web? If so, I'd suggest that you bank check if the same fault will occur on other web browsers.

Hi, thanks sir for your quick response. I can easily change my profile film in the Google chrome browser without whatsoever problems. I went to Microsofts accounts page and found two different contour pictures apparently for two different accounts that I had over the years, for some reason I tin can't go dorsum to that page in my edge browser or Google chrome browser. That Paige had three different bubbles with ii different contour pictures of me. I'grand yet searching for my page in my history having a hard time finding information technology. I volition keep you updated on my issues.

I am having the aforementioned issue. I accept tried with Google Chrome and the new Edge. Getting the same message with whatsoever motion-picture show I try to upload. "Try again later. We tried to upload your moving picture, but something went wrong."
I take tried different dimensions, file sizes, jpg, jpeg, png, gif.

Can y'all provide u.s.a. a screenshot of the folio that y'all are trying to view or where yous try to alter your profile picture?
Are y'all trying to go to sign in to your info page with your Microsoft business relationship, and then southelect Add moving picture or Change picture, then follow the instructions.
Let me know how it turns out for you.

Have you tried to articulate the browser cache and history to know if this will help resolve the issue. And also, can y'all confirm if you have tried to upload different images? If yes, does the effect occurs on all of the prototype?

I think I figured out the problem.. I clicked on sync account on my profile page and when information technology wouldn't sync, I questioned it on thethe internet and I got a response saying the new Border was non able to sync your business relationship and that Microsoft will have that issue fixed with in a few months with an update to the new Border. So that explained a lot. By the way the proof is that I can change my profile picture on MS account folio no problem, but the MS New Border browser profile picture I tin can not change.It is an older motion picture of me. Not sure simply yous tin can see my new picture by my name on this community page I am typing on right now. So to sum it up, the new Border browser will not sync the contour image, everything else I try works. Past the way some other effect I discovered in windows 10 after all the windows updates. When I boot up my computer I see that MS Word besides launches on startup. I have no docs open so non sure what that it. I launched chore manager and start options simply no discussion app is showing on startup. I estimate something else to investigate...

Thank y'all for getting back to the states, Frank. We're glad to know that you lot can now modify your MS contour image.
However, information technology seems that the issue is with the Windows OS performance. I propose that y'all raise this concern on the correct category which is Windows 10.
Should you still demand help, feel costless to answer to this thread.
